Maintaining Quality: Proper temperature and humidity control in a flower cold storage ensure that the flowers maintain their color, fragrance, and structural integrity, which is crucial for their aesthetic and commercial value.
Reducing Waste: Without adequate preservation, a significant portion of harvested flowers may spoil before reaching the market. Cold storage minimizes spoilage and waste, leading to better resource utilization.
Meeting Market Demand: Flower cold storage allows growers and sellers to store flowers for extended periods, making it possible to meet market demand even when flowers are out of season or during transportation over long distances.

Flower Storage Tips
Properly control the temperature and humidity inside the cold storage. If the humidity is insufficient, you can add a humidifier or spray water on the floor.
Trim the stems of flowers inserted in buckets to allow them to absorb water fully, and consider adding preservatives to assist in maintaining freshness.
Avoid over-packaging flowers stored in the cold storage, as lack of ventilation can lead to mold. It’s better to store them in bulk.
Since flowers can easily lose petals or leaves due to wind, choose low-wind speed double-sided air blowers or air-cooled units to avoid direct airflow on the flowers.
If you need to store both regular flowers and tropical flowers, you can design separate compartments with different temperature controls to accommodate the storage needs of both types.
During the daily storage process, regularly check the water levels in the buckets and look for any signs of falling leaves, wilting, or withering of the flowers.
The cold storage should be disinfected, cleaned, and maintained regularly, including replacing the refrigerant oil. Additionally, avoid storing products other than flowers, such as beverages, bananas, or apples, in the cold storage.
